Tips for Liners?
I'll be building my own backyard planters of the old palaces of wood (because my landlord will not let me plant on the ground). I'll be planting vegetables, herbs and so I need to know what is the best "regular" for the interior of the boxes so that the dirt does not go everywhere (and making my landlord has a cow!) but will allow adequate drainage and healthy plants. Thank you.
Believe it or not, we use bags heavy trash to our line. We were in the same situation as yourself. These large garbage bags a great job. Cut to fit some long planters, epoxy used to glue the areas that needs sealing, and used the same epoxy to attach it to the wood used for the landowners. Just bending over all add bag that we use in a corner. Also cut a few large holes in the bottom of each pot, put a small number of large rocks around each hole (to drain) and filled with good soil. The epoxy adhesive can be found at any hardware store. It's cheap and easy to use. Good luck, because they still are making tomato and herbs for us, and enjoy them enormously.
